Meet Tempratech at the 23rd ARCASIA Forum, Jaipur

The Architects Regional Council Asia brings its 23rd Forum to India this September, hosted by the Indian Institute of Architects under the theme "Bringing Back… Vernacular Wisdom". The programme runs across the Golden Triangle — Delhi, Agra and Jaipur — and the Jaipur leg, from 11 to 13 September, is where the exhibition sits. Tempratech will be there for all three days.

We are exhibiting because the specification decisions that decide whether a building heats its water efficiently are made by architects, long before an MEP consultant opens a load sheet. Plant-room area, roof space for outdoor units, riser routes, cylinder positions — these are set at the drawing stage, and a heat-pump system that arrives after them is always a compromise. Three days in one hall with the people who draw those plans is worth more to us than a season of site visits.

What will be on the stand

The stand covers the three things we make: heating, cooling and water treatment. We are planning to bring a TT-CM commercial monoblock — the unit that carries most of our hotel and hospital work — alongside a domestic split with its cylinder, insulated buffer storage and the water-softening and filtration equipment that protects a heat-pump system in hard-water cities. Our high-temperature and space-conditioning ranges will be there in drawings and data; those units are too large to put on a stand.

More useful than the hardware: the engineers who size it. Bring an occupancy pattern, a bed count or a laundry schedule and we will talk through what the peak looks like, how much storage it needs and where the plant would go. If you have a live project, we can turn that conversation into a written load model after the show.

Who should come and find us

Architects and design practices working on hotels, hospitals, group housing or wellness projects anywhere in South Asia. Consultants who have been asked to specify heat pumps for the first time and want to know what the honest performance numbers are in Indian ambient conditions. Developers who have seen the electricity bills on a conventional geyser installation and want to understand the alternative. And anyone who has a plant-room photograph they think we ought to see.

ARCASIA member institutes span 25 countries from Pakistan to Japan, and the forum is expected to draw more than 2,000 delegates. For a manufacturer whose factory and head office are in Jaipur, having that audience arrive on our doorstep is an opportunity we do not expect to see repeated soon.
